Seasonal Twilight#

I went on another hike today, up the Altkönig in the Taunus.

Down in the valley, the weather was wet, and grey. Exactly what I expected for the spring season to be at the start of April.

Up the mountain however, it’s been a beautiful seasonal twilight, where winter wasn’t ready to leave yet. Snow covered, quiet, decelerated. The monochromatic high-contrast colors being easy on the eyes.

I will miss you, winter, but it’s time for you to leave. See you in a year!
